About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Dialysis Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of Dialysis experience, Acute and Outpatient experience preferred License: State license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Must have Dialysis experience. Acute and Outpatient experience preferred. Epic charting system experience is a hard requirement. Description: Guarantee hours are 40 hours per week. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 5:30 am to 6:00 pm. Combination of two 12-hour shifts and two 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts. Rotating Saturdays from 5:30 am to 6:00 pm, either 8 or 12 hours depending upon department need. Possible call Monday to Friday from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, and weekends from Saturday 6:00 pm to Monday 6:00 am. Float required to all other Dialysis locations. Previous charge experience is preferred. Patient ratio experience is beneficial. Skills required include administration of blood and blood products, ability to cannulate AV grafts and fistulas, and management of dysrhythmias. Experience with acute care inpatient dialysis, chronic outpatient dialysis, and hemodialysis is required. Candidates should have knowledge of infection control practices. Candidates will be required to float to other locations as needed. Travel experience is not mandatory. Backgrounds will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Return staff policy is six months system-wide. Modules are billable, up to 5 hours. Modules will be completed pre-start and vary by specialty. Total module time may reach up to 10 hours. Candidates must have the ability to work flexible hours.
