Part-Time Senior Momentum Financials Business Analyst/VHA Subject Matter Expert

Trilogy Federal is looking for a motivated and independent Part-TimeSenior Momentum Financials Business Analyst with knowledge and experience in federalfinancial managementusing Momentum Financials to support the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) of the Department of Veterans Affairs. This role comes with a focus on supportingexternal customers with analyzing current business processes, developing functional requirements,implementingand testing solutions, and supporting end users with system functionality and processes.We are seeking candidates for a full-time remote position, with potential opportunities for onsite work in the future. Primary Responsibilities: Provide Federal Financials subject matterexpertiseusing Momentum Financials. Serve asProduct Owner/Backups as needed forConfiguration,Data, and others as needed. Support external customerswithanalyzing current business processes, developing requirements, implementingfinancial managementprocesses,developingand testing solutions to client issues, and supporting end users. Support sustainmenttrainingby identifying training gaps, creating user support tools, and ensuring all training content reflects real operational needs, also serving as SME on VHA business processes to ensure incorporation with training Expertise with VHA/VHA program office processes and systems (FMS, VISTA, IFCAP and data) Support VHA in the research and analysisforfinancial statement reporting, internal controls, and responses to internal and external audits. Lead analysis on business problems, research and recommend solutions, and execute resolution steps to address client issues. Provide functional support for testing, such as developing test scenarios and documentation and performing validation testing, for the Momentum Financials application, as well as associated reports and interfaces. Assistclients in leading new initiatives, such as analyzing business requirements, developing design documentation, and training and supporting end users with system functionality. Facilitate, lead, andparticipatein virtual and face-to-face meetings with government clients and other organizations. Minimum Requirements: A master’s degree and 10+ years of overall related experience (OR aBachelor’sdegreewith 12+ years of experience) 8+ hands-on experience with Financial ERP systems, specifically with CGI’s Federal Financial System (FFS) andMomentum strongly desired, as well as VISTA and IFCAP 10+ years of direct experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs. Ability to effectively communicate and interact with senior level management and clients Expert in Microsoft Excel, including but not limited toapplicationofformulas, macros, filtering, pivot tables,graphsand charts Strong understanding of federal financial reporting and accounting processesandexpertisein managing or working withoutstanding obligations, unliquidated obligations, and open financial system transactions Strong analytical stills Strong written and oral communication skills An outstanding ability toestablishpriorities and meet deadlines Ability to obtaina PublicTrust clearance Preferred Qualifications: VA or Federal experience preferred $85 - $95 an hour This range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as Trilogy Federal conducts an individual equity review for every candidate based on experience, location, education, industry experience, and comparisons to internal pay bands.
