Position: Branch Operations Specialist Location: Lugoff, SC Job Id: 146-BOS826 # of Openings: 1 Position Summary Under limited direction, the Branch Operations Specialist provides operational support to branch personnel and serves as a key operational resource for the Credit Union. This position is responsible for accurately processing financial transactions, delivering exceptional member service, and assisting members in achieving their financial goals through effective use of Credit Union products and services. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Branch Operations Specialist travels between branch locations as needed to provide operational support and ensure consistent service excellence. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Member Service & Financial Transactions Provide friendly, professional, confidential, and effective service to members in person, through the drive-thru, virtually, and by telephone. Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and account maintenance transactions. Confirm transaction details with members to ensure accuracy and minimize errors. Address member inquiries and maintain accurate transaction records. Account Services Open and maintain checking, savings, certificate, IRA, and other deposit accounts. Facilitate IRA openings, transfers, rollovers, and closures. Assist with Shared Certificates, Safe Deposit Boxes, check orders, account closures, ACH services, and wire transfers. Help members utilize digital and self-service banking solutions. Lending & Product Knowledge Interview loan applicants and gather required information and documentation. Explain loan products, rates, terms, collateral requirements, and ancillary products. Process loan and credit card applications. Cross-sell products and services that meet members’ financial needs.
