As a Security Guard - Experienced Patrol in Denver, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transit location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support riders, visitors, and staff through strong communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transit platforms, stations, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directions and general information, and help support orderly movement throughout the location.
• Communicate with local authorities, transit personnel, and/or Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, suspicious activity, and conditions that may require additional attention.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A handcuffing certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
