Surgery Scheduler

Job Title: Surgery Scheduler Glen Echo Surgery Center is seeking a Surgery Scheduler to plan and schedule surgeries and related appointments. The role coordinates with doctors, anesthesia, lab, and insurance carriers, manages credentialing functions, and ensures accurate patient chart data entry. Responsibilities Maintain master schedule to coordinate between doctors, anesthesia, lab and insurance carriers. Schedule surgeries, coordinate schedule between Surgery Center and doctor’s offices. Gather all detailed information for the patient’s chart: type of procedure, supplies, special equipment required, insurance information, etc. Enter all patient information into the computer system. Qualifications High School Graduate or equivalent. 2+ years of experience in a clinical environment preferred. 2-3 years of scheduling experience preferred. Ability to read, write and comprehend English. Basic typing and computer experience. Pay Range Min: $26.69 to Max: $32.90.
