Job: Registered Nurse – PICU

Location: Cleveland, OH
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift | 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Start Date: 06/26/2026

Responsibilities:

• Provide critical care nursing to pediatric patients in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
• Monitor and care for critically ill pediatric patients requiring advanced cardiac and neurological monitoring.
• Manage patients requiring epilepsy monitoring and specialized pediatric care for patients up to 25 years of age.
• Administer IV medications, inotropes, and emergency interventions as needed.
• Perform continuous cardiac monitoring and interpret ECG rhythms accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow hospital safety and infection control protocols.
• Respond effectively to pediatric emergencies and rapidly changing patient conditions.
• Participate in orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate testing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License required.
• Minimum 18 months of recent Pediatric/PICU experience required.
• Prior permanent experience in specialty required before travel assignments.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA or American Red Cross).
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• Experience with ECG rhythm interpretation and inotrope administration required.
• Strong pediatric critical care background required.
• Must be willing to work every other holiday as needed.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments required during orientation.
