Position: Registered Nurse – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

Start Date: June 26, 2026

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Night, 3x12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30)

Location: Cleveland, OH 44195

Requirements

• Licensure: Permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand
• Experience:
  • Minimum 18 months of permanent experience in specialty prior to travel assignments
  • Minimum 18 months of recent pediatric experience (travel experience acceptable)
  • Experience in epilepsy monitoring and specialized care for patients up to 25 years of age
• Certifications:
  • AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS (required)
  • NIHSS (preferred)
  • ECG rhythm recognition and inotropes competency required
• Vaccinations:
  • COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
  • Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms, administer inotropes, and manage complex patient conditions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient care
• Participate in epilepsy monitoring and specialized pediatric care protocols
• Complete orientation assessments: ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate (acceptable scores required)
• Work every other holiday as part of the assignment schedule
