We design, build, manufacture, and operate all parts of the system including thousands of satellites and millions of customer kits. Our customers currently include teachers in remote parts of the Amazon, researchers in Antarctica, digital nomads, emergency responders, commercial airlines, cruise lines, and residential users in rural or developing areas. Users can get online within minutes almost anywhere in the world, and we are only beginning to scratch the surface of Starlink’s potential. We are looking for best‑in‑class engineers to help maximize Starlink’s utility for individuals, communities, and businesses. Responsibilities Drive end‑to‑end product compliance and global market access for Starlink hardware (EMC, Safety, Radio, and Environmental) Coordinate certification programs across multiple disciplines and geographies Collaborate with design teams to embed compliance requirements early in the development cycle Manage relationships with test labs, Notified Bodies, and certification agencies worldwide Own technical construction files and support global regulatory submissions Identify and resolve complex compliance issues across safety, EMC, RF, and materials Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a STEM discipline 5+ years of experience in compliance and certification engineering (internship experience is applicable) Preferred Skills and Experience 10+ years of progressive experience in product compliance engineering Broad experience across EMC, Product Safety, RF/Wireless, and Environmental compliance Hands‑on experience with FCC, CE, UL, IEC, EN, RED, RoHS, REACH and related standards Demonstrated success certifying consumer electronics or telecommunications equipment for global markets Strong project management and cross‑functional leadership skills Ability to quickly ramp up on new regulations and standards Excellent communicator who can translate complex technical/regulatory topics for engineering audiences Additional Requirements Ability to work extended hours or weekends as needed for mission critical deadlines To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder), Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State SpaceX is an Equal Opportunity Employer; employment with SpaceX is governed on the basis of merit, competence and qualifications and will not be influenced in any manner by race, color, religion, gender, national origin/ethnicity, veteran status, disability status, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, mental or physical disability or any other legally protected status.
