Registered Nurse - Radiology

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures. Collaborate with medical teams to ensure patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes during complex radiological interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and monitor patient responses throughout radiology procedures.
• Assist radiologists and technicians during interventional procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Assess patient conditions before, during, and after procedures, documenting findings accurately.
• Educate patients about procedures, post-care instructions, and answer any questions they may have.
• Maintain sterile environments and proper infection control measures within the radiology suite.
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with active state licensure.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent radiology or interventional radiology nursing experience.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Knowledge of radiology procedures, protocols, and safety measures.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
