Pay Range: $40 - $47/hour. Employee benefits include but are not limited to health insurance (medical dental vision) 401(k) plan and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide linguistic expertise while delivering data for large language models
• Collaborate with other linguists and data operations teams in data collection data curation and annotation efforts
• Evaluate and curate data sets for ML models using LLM solutions
• Assess model performance and data quality
• Engage in prompt engineering
• Create guidelines to support labeling projects for consistent language data annotation
• Develop complex and consistent linguistic analyses collaboratively

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key Skills; Masters or PhD in Linguistics language technologies computational linguistics or related field
• Experience with machine learning frameworks NLP Libraries and Tools
• 4-5 years of experience working in a Linguist role
• Conversational assistant ML Support LLMs
• Bachelors degree in general Linguistics Computational Linguistics or related field
• Experience with regular expression encoding
• Knowledge of syntax semantics pragmatics sociolinguistics corpus linguistics and other areas of linguistics
• Proficiency in Python
• Experience with database queries and data analysis processes (i.e. SQL spreadsheets)
• Experience working with speech and text data
• Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) prompt engineering and their applications
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced highly collaborative dynamic work environment
• Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
