CNC Machinist

CNC MachinistsEssential duties and responsibilities include:Setting up and operating Okuma CNC mills and lathes.Reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.Loading programs, making offsets, and adjusting machine settings as needed.Performing tool changes and monitoring tool wear.Inspecting finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and indicators.Verifying dimensions and tolerances to ensure quality standards are met.Troubleshooting machining issues and making necessary adjustments.Performing routine machine maintenance and keeping equipment clean and organized.Maintaining accurate production and quality records.Following all safety procedures and company policies.Working independently and as part of a team to meet production goals.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required.2+ years of CNC machining experience preferred.Experience operating and setting up Okuma mills and lathes required.Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T preferred.Proficient with precision measuring tools.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Ability to work with minimal supervision.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Physical requirements include:Ability to stand for extended periods.Frequently lifting up to 50 pounds.Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions.Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, coolant, and metal chips.For more information or to schedule an interview, call/text us at View phone number on click.appcast.io.
