Boilermaker PositionOur company is looking for a highly motivated, self-starting welder to fill an opening in our Nashville, TN location. Our company specializes in boiler and boiler related equipment sales, service and repair, with offices in Georgia and Tennessee.Duties & Responsibilities:Welding & Fit-Up (Shielded Metal, Gas Metal Arc & Gas Tungsten Arc)Oxygen Cutting (Acetylene)Brazing of Copper PipingPipefitting & PlumbingPrepare boilers for inspectionMechanical installation of boilers & boiler related equipmentRemove and replace tubes on boilersRefractory repair and installationPerform all other duties assigned by the Service Manager & Service CoordinatorQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent2-3 years relevant experience in service, repair and/or mechanical operationsMust have a valid driver's licenseKnowledge in boiler service, repair and/or operations desirable, but not requiredCertified A.S.M.E. welder desirable, but not requiredPast pipefitting and/or plumbing experience desirable, but not requiredBasic computer skillsPhysical & Personal Requirements:Ability to lift 50lbs + from floor to waist and waist to above headAble to climb and use a ladder, forklift & scissor liftAbility to stand for 6+ hours a dayAbility to work in varying temperatures (Hot & Cold)Successfully pass a drug test and background checkEfficient, organized & the willingness to adapt to changeAbility to self-direct, with reasonable, reliable attendanceGood communication and customer service skillsProblem solving skills with a "Can/Will Do" attitudeWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
