Job Description & Unit Details

Join one of the nation's premier teaching hospital systems. This role is based out of the main campus inpatient pool with a primary focus on high-acuity Med/Surg Telemetry populations.

• Floating Fleet: High probability to float to dynamic inpatient pods (Units J1-2, J33) and the Emergency Department to manage matching patient populations.
• Onboarding Testing: The standard PBDS assessment is waived. However, travelers must complete and pass an ECG Rhythm Recognition Test and a safeMedicate calculation exam during orientation. A maximum of 2 attempts is permitted to achieve a passing score, otherwise, the contract is subject to immediate cancellation.
• Nicotine Policy Exemption: Nurses and CSTs are currently exempt from Cleveland Clinic's nicotine-free facility mandate until further notice (no cotinine screen required for this specific role).

Experience & Clinical Competency

• Permanent Staff Foundation: Must have at least 18 months of combined permanent staff experience in the MS/Tele specialty (ideally at a single facility, though combined history is acceptable).
• Recent Continuity: Must have 18 months of recent, active MS/Tele experience (travel history counts toward this recency block).

Licensure & Certifications

• License Status: Must have a permanent Ohio state license or active Compact state license in hand at the exact time of submission. Pending status is not accepted.
• Active Certifications: Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required. All credentials must be active with nothing pending.
