Job Summary
ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Critical Access Hospital Day Shift 36 hours/week. Located in a 4-bed intensive care unit within a critical access hospital, this role involves providing specialized care for adult and geriatric patients with a range of diagnoses, including ventilated patients and those requiring telemetry monitoring. The position requires flexibility to float between units as needed and adherence to unit-specific protocols.

Job Details

• Position Description: ICU RN position involves care in a critical access hospital's 4-bed ICU with a 2 RN model, managing patients with conditions such as CHF, pneumonia, COVID-19, sepsis, and post-surgical care. Responsibilities include ventilator management, arterial line care, BIPAP/CPAP management, and infusion therapies.
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications, 1 year of ICU or critical care experience, and healthcare provider experience in managing arterial lines, ventilators, and infusion drips.
• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Requirements: Must be able to work weekends, and be flexible to float between units as needed. Candidates must respond to the specific scheduling request upon submission, including working three of the five holidays.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a critical access hospital, telemetry monitoring, and managing complex patient cases such as multisystem organ failure.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates are required to provide two references from the last three years covering at least one year of recent clinical experience, including previous work at a Providence facility if applicable.
