The Power Design Surge Café is seeking a Catering Coordinator to join our growing team. While working at the on-campus café at our corporate headquarters in sunny St. Pete, you will play a pivotal role in helping keep our culture fueled by building relationships with our PDI employees and guests. We are seeking candidates who can work in an evolving environment and deliver our "PlusONE" raving-fan customer service experience to the PDI Family. position details/responsibilities … Communicating with customers and clients to understand their catering needs and expectations. Planning menus in conjunction with chefs and management. Coordinating and overseeing the delivery of food and beverages on campus. Managing catering execution and providing direction and feedback. Maintaining health and safety regulations at all food service areas. Setting up, breaking down, and cleaning up catering events. Handling client concerns and complaints professionally and efficiently. Managing budget and invoicing, ensuring payments and contracts are in order. Managing catering supplies and equipment. Maintain detailed records of all catering events. Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages as needed. Manage and maintain Surge restaurant application. Other cafe tasks as assigned. here’s what we’re looking for … At least 2-5 years of experience working in a field within the hospitality and service industry. Excellent customer service skills, including patience and a friendly demeanor. Engaging and outgoing personality to build relationships and ensure customer satisfaction. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and problem-solve while ensuring a “customer first” mentality.
