Medical Lab Technician

Cytologist TravelerThis position requires working Monday through Friday with five 8-hour shifts.We are seeking a skilled Cytologist Traveler responsible for reading PAPs and non-GYN slides. This role includes molecular testing on PAP vials and grossing, ensuring attention to detail and technical skill in cytology processing, preparation, and staining.Demonstrate technical skill in all aspects of cytology processing, preparation, and staining.Screen an average of 60 to 80 slides per day, adhering to limits set by CAP and Pathologist.Assist in specimen collection as needed.Maintain computerized patient records accurately.Graduate from an ABHES accredited school of cytotechnology or an approved organization by Health and Human Services.Cytotechnologist (CT) certification from ASCP is required.Associate degree is mandatory; a bachelor's degree is preferred.At least 2 years of experience as a Cytotechnologist.Consistently diagnoses within one grade of Pathologist or Consultant diagnosis.At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
