Accounts Payable Coordinator Rutherford County, TN Salary Range: $44,000 – $52,000 Industry: Manufacturing About the Opportunity – Accounts Payable Coordinator Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Coordinator to join their growing manufacturing team in Rutherford County. This position plays a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, vendor payments, and account reconciliations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounts payable expertise, and manufacturing industry experience. Key Responsibilities – Accounts Payable Coordinator Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, receiving documentation, and invoices Review, verify, and code invoices for payment processing Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries Maintain accurate vendor records and accounts payable documentation Assist with month-end closing activities and account reconciliations Prepare and process weekly payment runs in accordance with company policies Utilize Excel to analyze accounts payable data, generate reports, and support financial tracking Collaborate with purchasing, receiving, and accounting teams to ensure accuracy and compliance Qualifications – Accounts Payable Coordinator Minimum of 3 years of Accounts Payable experience required Prior manufacturing industry experience required Proven experience with three-way matching of invoices required Experience processing high volumes of invoices Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables required Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication and collaborative abilities Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred Experience with ERP systems and automated AP processes is a plus Why Work Here?
