Additionally, this role will be responsible for the development of product plans, strategies, and tactics while coordinating product lines through product life cycles in coordination with the broader Product Management team.This role will leverage broad Complex Assets domain knowledge, deep experience influencing product, operations, design, and IT architecture change. Timely execution, seamless business and client change are extremely important to ensure continued growth and expansion of relationships with strategic clients in the complex assets space.What you’ll doOversee strategic roadmap, development, launch, and marketing to gain maximum benefit from each productOversee day-to-day product management for core products such as product delivery, client experience, and client communication strategies as well as help the team prioritize, negotiate, and remove obstacles to achieve business resultsExecute client value propositions, positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, channel strategies, and competitive differentiation to achieve preferred status as a partner to Citi clientsDevelop plans and execute functional strategies for a country, multiple countries, region, or business requiring coordination and integration across units as well as provide input into strategic decisions affecting job family or function within a region or businessManage client and competitor market research, develop product innovation roadmap, and address fundamental trials of product commoditization to create an advanced set of solutionsOversee all aspects of program life cycle management including market demands, technology trends, and the competitive fieldContribute to achievement of acquisition targets, product financial performance, revenue performance, and expense management goals as well as oversee identification and execution of opportunities and gaps business plansDevelop and communicate a business plan to approach the marketplace, and coordinate and implement team procedures, client problem resolutions and client managementHelp drive innovation by working with external partners/alliances to develop products, manage vendor relationships, and prepare agreementsAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.What we’ll need from you6-10 years of relevant experienceExtensive Complex Assets/Derivatives industry experience, ideally in a Product Management capacity within financial services.Deep and technical understanding of multi-asset class OTC derivatives, including their lifecycle events (intrinsic and extrinsic), with consideration for service level offerings impacting Fund Accounting and Middle Office.Proven knowledge of Portfolio Swaps and Exchange Traded Derivatives.Demonstrated experience in defining economic minimum data requirements for financial instruments.Solid understanding of derivative technical market conventions, data models, and the ability to address market events affecting valuation and processing.Previous experience working in Product Management roles focused on financial instruments.Experience managing across multi-function and/or global businessAbility to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirementsAbility to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictateConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communicationDemonstrated analytical skillsDemonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skillsConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communicationAbility to work in a team-oriented environmentEducation:Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experienceMaster’s degree preferred------------------------------------------------------Job Family Group: Product Management and Development------------------------------------------------------Job Family:Product Management------------------------------------------------------Time Type:Full time------------------------------------------------------Primary Location:Boston Massachusetts United States------------------------------------------------------Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:$123,360.00 - $185,040.00In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
