The team partners closely with equipment, quality, and production organizations to enable stable processes, improve yield, and deliver consistent manufacturing outcomes.Join us and make a change!Position OverviewAs a Fab Engineer, you will own and sustain semiconductor manufacturing processes within the fab. You will solve process issues, analyze performance data, and implement solutions that improve yield, quality, and cycle time. This role plays a direct part in enabling high-volume manufacturing through structured problem solving and multi-functional execution.ResponsibilitiesOwn process performance and drive improvements in yield, quality, and cycle timeTroubleshoot manufacturing issues using structured methodologies (e.g., root cause analysis, FMEA, SPC, 8D)Analyze process data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunitiesDefine, monitor, and adjust process parameters across semiconductor manufacturing equipmentPartner with cross-functional teams to resolve process excursions and implement corrective actionsSupport qualification and integration of new equipment, materials, and process changesDrive initiatives focused on yield improvement, cost reduction, and productivityPerform defect analysis and long-term investigations to improve process stability and reliabilityMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field5+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or process engineeringExperience resolving manufacturing process issues using root cause analysisWorking knowledge of statistical and process control systems (SPC, FDC, APC, or similar)Ability to collaborate across engineering and production teams to solve complex problemsPreferred QualificationsMaster’s degree or PhD in Engineering or a related fieldExperience in Region E module or similar semiconductor process areasExperience driving yield improvement and process optimization effortsStrong analytical and data interpretation skillsAbility to communicate technical information clearly and lead initiatives to completionAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
