Property Accounting Manager

Spectrum Search is working closely with a REIT in Dallas looking to add a new Property Accounting Manager over its portfolio. This role works directly with the CFO and will lead property-level accounting, monthly reporting, operational processes, and special projects across a growing platform. This role will wear several hats, interact with multiple business units, and have meaningful exposure to executive leadership. This is much more than a traditional property accounting position. Responsibilities: Lead monthly close and financial reporting for a portfolio of real estate assets Review and analyze property-level financial statements, budgets, and operating results Partner directly with the CFO on ad hoc projects, reporting initiatives, and process improvements Manage budget-to-actual reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Assist with treasury activities, cash management, and weekly reporting requirements Coordinate with third-party property managers and external service providers Improve accounting controls, reporting processes, and workflow efficiencies as the platform continues to grow Work extensively within Yardi and advanced Excel-based reporting packages Experience: BS in Accounting or Finance required, CPA highly preferred 5+ years of accounting experience with property accounting, real estate, or REIT exposure Strong understanding of month-end close, financial reporting, and property-level accounting concepts Experience working within Yardi required Ability to operate in a lean environment with high visibility and changing priorities Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with executives and operational teams Process-improvement mindset with a desire to build and improve existing workflows Depending on experience, this role will pay $115k-$120k + 15-20% bonus. #J-18808-Ljbffr Spectrum Search Group
