About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President of Industrial Development to lead its industrial platform in Texas. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the company's industrial development strategy in the region, building a robust pipeline of opportunities, and overseeing projects from inception to delivery. This role is pivotal in sourcing and securing development sites, leading the underwriting and due diligence process, and managing the full development lifecycle, including construction and lease-up. The ideal candidate will have a strong network of industry contacts in Texas, a proven track record in industrial real estate development, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a national business. Key responsibilities for the Senior Vice President of Industrial Development include leading the Texas development strategy, sourcing and securing development sites, evaluating and underwriting opportunities, and managing the entitlements and approvals process. The role also involves overseeing construction, delivery, and lease-up, as well as maintaining project accountability and building the company's presence in the Texas industrial real estate market. The candidate should have at least 7 years' of experience in industrial real estate development, with a focus on modern logistics facilities, and be adept at financial modeling, negotiation, and relationship management. An entrepreneurial spirit, strong commercial judgment, and the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams are essential for this position.
