Tax Manager

Tax ManagerCentury Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Tax Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $160,000 to $180,000 per year.Job Responsibilities:Oversee tax compliance activities and manage the preparation, review, and filing of complex tax returns and related reporting.Coordinate with external tax advisors and service providers to ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.Review tax workpapers, supporting schedules, and documentation to maintain compliance with applicable regulations.Manage tax reporting workflows and monitor project timelines to ensure efficient execution and completion.Lead special projects, including process improvements, vendor transitions, and enhancements to tax reporting procedures.Requirements:Approximately 7+ years of progressive tax experience with demonstrated management level responsibilities.Strong background in investment fund taxation, partnership taxation, and related tax reporting requirements.Previous experience overseeing third party tax providers, reviewing tax filings, and managing compliance processes.Ability to work independently while handling multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast paced environment.Prior experience leading tax related projects, operational transitions, or process improvement initiatives.Qualifications:Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality review.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage documentation, schedules, and deliverables effectively.Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities with the capacity to evaluate complex tax matters.Strong communication and relationship building skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.Self motivated professional with the ability to exercise sound judgment and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.
