Job Overview A law firm seeks a Family Law & Personal Injury Attorney in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will advocate for families in transition and represent clients in personal injury claims, managing a varied caseload and developing litigation skills across multiple practice areas. Responsibilities Represent clients in divorce, child custody, and support matters. Draft and file family law pleadings and motions. Conduct client consultations and strategy sessions. Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trials. Handle personal injury cases, including car accidents and premises liability. Draft demand packages and legal briefs. Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters and opposing counsel. Manage a diverse and high-volume caseload. Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and attorneys. Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Licensed and in good standing in IL (TX, KS, MO a plus). 1-3 years of experience in family law and/or personal injury. Proven litigation and negotiation skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
