Experience 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months. 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 6 months within the last 6 months. 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred. Required Skills/Experience:Must have unit/specialty experience in the past 6 months.Strong cardiac telemetry background required.Must be able to decrease cardiac drips per physicians’ orders and parameters.Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips.MS/Tele travelers do not need prior travel experience. Unit Details:Will care for ED hold patients awaiting inpatient bed placement, primarily MS/Tele, with more telemetry patients than medical patients.May help with ED patients including vitals, IV starts, and medication administration, but will not be the primary RN for ED patient assignments.Titrates cardiac drips including Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone.No monitor tech in the ED; ED PCTs available. Shift & Scheduling:Ability to self-schedule; however, this could change from time to time.4 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule.Must work 2 of 4 major holidays.No call required. Floating Requirements:First to float to med/surg, telemetry, and overflow units, as well as CRMC/MGMC EDs, as needed. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027.
