Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and assess patients' medical histories to provide a holistically informed approach to care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab results and imaging studies like X-rays, to guide clinical decision-making.
• Diagnose and manage a range of cardiovascular conditions, educating patients on their health status and treatment options.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for chronic and infectious diseases, coordinating care with other healthcare professionals.
• Prescribe medications while monitoring efficacy and side effects, ensuring a personalized approach to pharmacological management.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies, ensuring timely updates to treatment plans.
• Engage in patient education, providing resources on cardiovascular health, lifestyle modifications, and preventive measures.
• Monitor overall patient health, conducting follow-up assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily focus on patients experiencing cardiovascular issues, including high blood pressure, heart disease, and other related conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physician Assistant license (PA-C) in the state of Florida.
• Current DEA number to prescribe medications.
• Strong foundational knowledge in primary care and cardiological practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interactions with patients and healthcare teams.
• Commitment to high ethical standards and patient advocacy.

Preferred Experience

• Proven experience as a Physician Assistant in a clinical or hospital environment, preferably with a focus on cardiology.

Compensation and Benefits
