Conflicts Specialist

A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Conflicts Specialist to join its new business intake teams . This role is responsible for reviewing new client, matter, and lateral hire requests, conducting conflicts research, identifying potential ethical and business issues, and partnering with attorneys and firm stakeholders to facilitate conflict resolution and matter openings. Responsibilities Review and analyze conflicts searches for new clients, matters, and lateral hires. Conduct corporate and legal research to identify potential conflicts, ethical concerns, and business risks. Prepare clear and concise conflict summaries and communicate findings to attorneys and firm stakeholders. Assist with conflict resolution efforts, including conflict waivers, engagement letters, and ethical screens. Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the conflicts clearance process. Support timely client and matter openings while ensuring compliance with firm policies and professional responsibility standards. Qualifications Experience in a law firm conflicts, new business intake, risk management, compliance, paralegal, or legal research function. Familiarity with Intapp Open or similar conflicts management platforms preferred. Strong analytical and research skills with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
