Education: Two (2) years of college. Experience / Qualifications: Current State of Florida License. Current ARRT, CT Registry Required or obtained within 6 months of hire date. American Heart Association BLS, for Heath Care Provider Proficient computer skills. Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.

Position Summary: The CT Technologist performs all CT procedures, abdominal, pelvic, head/skull, thorax, and extremities. Demonstrates knowledge of advanced computer applications including PACS and Image manipulation for image enhancement. Demonstrates advanced knowledge of the human anatomy & pathology and can use this knowledge to provide quality CT images for interpretation. Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit, stand, walk for long periods of time, be flexible enough to twist, bend, lift, assist, transport patients via wheelchair & stretcher. Be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs., perform CPR and patient assessment.

Threshold Requirements: These threshold requirements are required and completed yearly basis. Annual Joint Commission mandatory education requirements, in-service and health requirements including attendance at new employee orientation. TB/PPD Surveillance Program. Maintenance of required professional licensing and/or certification(s).
