Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) RN position in Saint Louis, Missouri. This role involves working in a high-volume, high-acuity environment with a focus on interventional procedures. The RN will provide patient care in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including conscious sedation and monitoring.

Job Details

• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, rotating days between 0700-1730, 0700-1730 late, and 1000-2030 closes as needed.
• Required Qualifications: Missouri or compact license, 2+ years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab or related field, ACLS and BLS certifications, minimum of one year of electrophysiology (EP) experience, and interventional scrub experience.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS.
• Additional Qualifications: Experience with Epic documentation system and Impella devices required; must pass Relias EKG exam.
• Clinical Responsibilities: Provide conscious sedation, sterile supply handoff, vitals assessment, documentation in Epic, and cross-training to operate hemodynamics in monitor tech role.
• Special Equipment and Procedures: Use of Epic documentation system, Impella, and IABP; Competency in diagnostic and interventional PCI, TAVR, and other cardiac procedures.
• Facility & Patient Care Details: Short-term acute care setting with teaching and level trauma designation; 1266 staffed beds.
• Patient Age Groups: Adults.
• Patient Census: Approximately 35 visits per day in an environment with 10 procedure rooms.
• Additional Unit Support: IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, rapid response, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary support.
• Scheduling & Coverage: Day, evening, night, and weekend shifts with call coverage as required, within service line, no local candidates within 75 miles accepted.
• License & Compliance: MO license in hand or eligible; IL license required at submission; maximum of 7 days RTO, no RTO allowed in first week; compliance deadline is 3 pm CST on the Monday prior to start.
• Travel & Contract Details: Contract start date 08/17/2026, 40 hours/week, 10-hour shifts, with specified orientation and compliance requirements.
