Description of Work The Procurement Specialist will handle IT and non‑IT acquisitions of goods, services, and grant agreements. Responsibilities include creating and reviewing purchasing requests and contracts to ensure compliance with N.C. General Statutes, N.C. Administrative Code, and DEQ purchasing policies. Key Responsibilities Creation of IT and non‑IT solicitation documents, grant agreements, amendments, and contract agreements. Management of request workflows in North Carolina procurement systems. Customer service and communications. Facilitation and training. Record management and retention. Qualifications Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and two years of procurement experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification: Completion of the North Carolina Contract Management Certification Program within one year of hire. Compensation Recruitment Range: $47,703.00 – $81,918.00. Telework This position qualifies for a hybrid telework option, combining routine office and remote workdays.
