Membership Growth Consultant

Membership Growth Consultant (MGC) – Responsibilities Nurtures, builds and cultivates direct‑to‑senors and business‑to‑business partnerships to generate new patient opportunities year‑round. Meets with individual seniors and groups to share the ChenMed value proposition. Plans, coordinates and executes local events within the community (information tables, health fairs, doc talks, etc.). Cultivates strong relationships with health plan agents, insurance agents, social workers, case workers, senior housing managers, senior centers and related community providers. Partners with community officials, businesses and senior outreach programs to develop initiatives that drive new patient growth. Schedules one‑on‑one sales meetings and referral relationships with plan agents, independent brokers and the senior community. Manages vendors related to event planning and negotiates contracts with venues. Ensures insurance agents and/or brokers are invited to community events. Leverages marketing and sales tools to identify solutions and sell to new customers. Maintains up‑to‑date client information in the CRM tool (SalesForce). Utilizes the CRM to document interactions and manage leads. Provides monthly activity calendar reflecting community access points and new tabletop venues. Creates penetration plans and initiatives in key target markets and channels. Recovers dormant customers via sales tools and marketing campaigns. Drives new member growth by educating potential patients on the ChenMed value proposition and healthcare model. Delivers presentations in front of large audiences. Develops all distribution channels to support new patient enrollment growth. Uses all sales tools provided to ensure efficiency and collection of pertinent data. Partners with sales leadership to improve effectiveness of engagements with distributors, vendors and community partners. Builds trusting relationships with brokers, insurance agents, case workers and third‑party vendors. Develops and executes specific broker and partner strategies and plans. Engages with new patients through and beyond their first appointment. Maintains relationships with enrolled patients to positively impact retention. Helps address and resolve customer complaints and issues. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications and Competencies Instills trust through honesty, integrity and authenticity. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities High business acumen and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Expertise in negotiation, probing, closing and handling objections. Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM tools (SalesForce). Excellent written and verbal communication, including pitch letters, outbound calls and group presentations. Positive, warm disposition attractive to seniors and their caregivers. Fluency in English; bilingual is a plus. Willingness to travel locally, regionally and nationwide up to 75% of the time. Education and Experience Criteria High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field preferred; additional combination of education, training and experience may count. A minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience required. Experience working with seniors and understanding of Medicare Advantage a plus. A minimum of 2 years of business‑to‑business experience or equivalent management experience preferred. Relevant sales experience with establishing and maintaining business/vendor partner relationships. Experience in telesales and inputting sales data while on the phone. Possession of a current, valid driver’s license. Pay Range Base salary ranges from $38,509 to $55,013 per year, subject to experience, education and location.
