• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM (24-hour coverage)
• Hours/Week: Approximately 40-50 hours, including call
• Employment Type: Contract/Locum
• License/Certs: TN State License, ACLS, BLS, DEA (TN), Board Certified GI highly preferred
• Experience: Well-versed in all General GI and ERCP procedures, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar roles

What You’ll Do:

• Perform inpatient general GI and ERCP procedures at two Tennessee facilities
• Support ERCP cases with advanced Olympus equipment
• Assist during scheduled endoscopy procedures, averaging 7-8 daily
• Participate in on-call responsibilities, including night and weekend coverage
• Collaborate with supportive nursing and clinical staff in a well-equipped Endoscopy Suite or OR
• Support hospital rounding and patient consultations as needed
• Maintain documentation in EPIC EMR system (preferred experience)

What You Need:

• Board Certification in Gastroenterology (required)
• Active TN State Medical License or ability to obtain via IMLC (required prior to confirmation)
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience with ERCP procedures essential
• Ability to handle high procedure volume with efficiency and professionalism
• Willingness to work flexible hours and participate in on-call rotations

About the Assignment:
This inpatient-only gastroenterology role is based at two well-respected Tennessee hospitals. The successful candidate will support a busy endoscopy unit, performing complex procedures such as ERCP, in a collaborative and high-volume environment. The facility offers block scheduling in the endoscopy suite, with a focus on patient-centered care and procedural excellence.
