Senior Controller

Senior Controller Department: Accounting; Reports to: CFO; Salary: Commensurate with experience + Benefits; FLSA Status: Exempt Job Summary MSI seeks a Senior Controller to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls, ensuring accurate and timely reporting while driving budgeting, compliance, and process improvement. Responsibilities Financial reporting: ensure timely monthly/quarterly close, prepare reconciliations, journal entries, and accounting estimates, maintain GAAP compliance, serve as primary accounting lead for internal audits. Financial insight and analysis: analyze monthly results, variances, trends; support budgeting and reforecasting; analyze margins and cost drivers; translate results into business insights; support short‑term cash forecasting with CFO; identify improvement opportunities. Internal controls, compliance and risk: maintain and enhance internal controls, ensure compliance with policies, support SOX compliance and internal audit, identify control gaps and risks. Business partnership, process and scalability: act as financial partner to operations and department leaders, support due diligence for acquisitions, drive continuous improvement, standardize procedures to support growth.
