Controller

Kavaliro is seeking a Controller to support a client in Orlando, Florida. Responsibilities Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, cash management, and financial reporting. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and maintain robust internal controls. Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and performance reports for senior leadership. Conduct detailed account analysis and develop forecasts to support strategic business decisions. Manage the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of financial software systems. Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and enhance operational efficiency. Monitor cash flow and manage liquidity to meet organizational needs. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the finance team in daily operations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required. Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar leadership role within the financial services industry. Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulatory reporting standards. Proficiency in QuickBooks and other financial management tools. Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for accuracy and detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams. Demonstrated experience managing accounts payable processes. Ability to thrive under pressure and consistently meet tight deadlines.
