Key Responsibilities For The Controller Partner with executive leadership on technical accounting and external reporting matters as the Controller. Drive monthly and quarterly close processes with a strong emphasis on technical accounting accuracy. Lead the application and interpretation of complex accounting standards and evolving guidance. Prepare and review technical accounting memos, position papers, and supporting documentation. Support SEC reporting efforts, including 10‑Qs, 10‑Ks, footnotes, and tie‑outs, while ensuring compliance with GAAP and SOX as the Controller. Qualifications For The Controller Active CPA required. Big 4 public accounting background required, with audit or technical accounting focus. Direct experience with technical accounting and SEC reporting in a publicly traded or public‑company‑ready environment.
