Housekeeping DirectorTHRYVE of Burbank is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Director to oversee the facility's housekeeping operations and ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and experience maintaining cleanliness standards in a healthcare or long-term care setting.Duties & ResponsibilitiesDirect and supervise the daily operations of the housekeeping department.Develop and maintain cleaning schedules for resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other facility spaces.Ensure the facility maintains high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and infection control.Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff to ensure quality performance.Monitor staff attendance, productivity, and adherence to department policies and procedures.Conduct routine inspections to ensure all areas of the facility meet established cleanliness standards.Ensure housekeeping practices comply with applicable healthcare regulations and infection prevention guidelines.Maintain adequate supplies and equipment and monitor inventory to control costs.Coordinate with facility leadership and other departments to address housekeeping needs and concerns.Ensure cleaning equipment is properly maintained and used safely.Respond promptly to housekeeping requests, spills, and other urgent cleaning needs.Maintain accurate department records, schedules, and supply inventories.Promote a safe working environment and ensure staff follow proper safety procedures.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsPrevious housekeeping supervisory or management experience required.Experience in a skilled nursing facility, healthcare, or long-term care setting preferred.Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and infection control practices.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to train, motivate, and supervise department staff.Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.BenefitsMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Life InsuranceCritical Illness InsuranceShort-Term Disability InsuranceAccident InsuranceHospital Indemnity Insurance401(k) Retirement Savings PlanOn-Demand Pay OptionPaid Time Off (PTO)Tuition Reimbursement ProgramJoin THRYVE of Burbank!At THRYVE of Burbank, we are committed to providing a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents.
