Truesdale Medical Center is a non-profit organization that provides care and support to individuals living with or affected by HIV/AIDS. Join our team as a Dentist and experience the opportunity to work onsite with a customer-centric group dedicated to excellence. The dentist will play a crucial role in providing preventive care, hygiene, and basic dental services tailored to adult patients. Recognizing that individuals with HIV face a higher risk of oral health issues, our team focuses on improving their quality of life through dedicated oral health care enhancing their self-esteem and fostering positive social interactions. Regular check-ups and good dental hygiene are essential components in managing the risks associated with HIV, making our work not just a profession, but a vital contribution to the well-being of our patients. In this role, you will have direct referrals, face-to-face contact with the patients' treating healthcare provider, and use of the latest equipment.

The dentist will examine patients requesting dental care, diagnose their dental/oral conditions, prescribe and carry out appropriate dental/oral treatment or refer individuals for specialty consultation or treatment.  

To thrive as a Contract Dentist at Truesdale Medical Center, a strong foundation in both technical and interpersonal skills is essential. Proficiency in software is crucial for managing patient records and facilitating effective treatment plans. Additionally, a deep understanding of oral health issues, particularly for patients living with HIV, is vital for providing informed and empathetic care.
