Lead Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianRoundhouse is hiring a Maintenance Technician at Second + Second Apartments. You'll handle hands-on repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and pool systems, and keep the property in great shape for the residents who call it home. The condition of our communities is what residents feel every day, and you're the one who keeps it strong.What You'll OwnComplete repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and pool and spa systemsRespond quickly to work orders and see each one through to a high-quality finishWalk the property to catch issues early and keep it compliant with safety and health codesKeep grounds, building exteriors, and common areas clean, functional, and looking sharpOversee repairs, preventive maintenance, and property, fire, pool, and annual inspections, resolving code issues fastManage make-ready schedules and unit turns, including move-out and pre-occupancy inspectionsOwn vendor relationships, collect and compare bids, and support CapEx planningMonitor maintenance budgets, approve purchases, and manage inventoryKeep accurate records for work orders, preventive maintenance, inspections, and trainingPartner with Community and Regional Managers on priorities, budgets, and long-term plans, and report regularly on property condition and team performanceTake your turn in the after-hours emergency rotation and help with snow and ice removalWhat You BringHigh school diploma or equivalent2+ years of property maintenance experienceWorking knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, CPO, and carpentry systemsStrong communication skills and a real customer-service mindsetA valid driver's license and reliable transportationThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamBasic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and property management softwareThe ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for long periods, climb ladders, and work outdoors in all weatherA Leg Up If You HaveTrade school or technical certificationExperience with Yardi Voyager, RentCafe, AIRM, LEO, Appwork, or similar maintenance softwareSpanish fluencyTools You'll BringWe supply power tools and larger equipment.
