Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Human Resources Manager role based in Los Angeles, CA. The Human Resources Manager will oversee day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations for both corporate staff and onsite property teams. This role will manage performance review processes, support policy development and compliance, and maintain accurate HR records and documentation. The Human Resources Manager will coordinate training and development initiatives, advise leadership on HR best practices, and help foster an inclusive, equitable workplace culture aligned with the company’s mission. The role will also handle benefits administration, support conflict resolution, and ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws. Qualifications Strong skills in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management to support a fair and inclusive work environment. Experience with recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding processes, preferably within real estate, property management, or a related industry. Knowledge of HR policies, compliance, and employment law, including California labor regulations and workplace safety requirements. Proficiency in HRIS systems, document management, and basic data analysis to maintain accurate employee records and HR metrics. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and roles. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and exercise sound judgment in sensitive situations. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
