This is a 13-week contract position.
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Travel Physical Therapist to join our team at a new rehabilitation unit. This position will focus on providing high-quality care in a skilled nursing facility setting, emphasizing patient evaluations, therapy interventions, and functional training.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient evaluations and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and transfers.
- Provide gait training and therapeutic exercises (Therex).
- Educate patients and family members on treatment protocols and progress.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current Physical Therapist license.
- BLS certification.
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) preferred.
- Familiarity with Meditech (Expanse) documentation system is a plus.
