This role is critical in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with contractual and regulatory requirements. The position involves close collaboration with project managers, engineers, and field teams to monitor progress and provide actionable insights to drive project success. The ideal candidate will have 35 years of project controls experience in the energy sector, with strong analytical skills and proficiency in project management tools. Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules for energy projects. Track project costs, prepare forecasts, and monitor budget performance. Generate project reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for internal and client use. Identify potential risks and provide recommendations for mitigation. Support project managers in planning, resource allocation, and progress tracking. Ensure compliance with project controls standards, corporate policies, and contractual requirements. Participate in project meetings and provide updates on schedule, cost, and performance metrics. Maintain accurate project documentation and records. Key Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. 35 years of experience in project controls, preferably in energy, T&D, or substation projects. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and Microsoft Office. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Understanding of project management and control principles, including cost control, scheduling, and risk management. Additional Information: Role may involve site visits and occasional travel.
