Job Description
Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

Schedule

12-hour night shifts. Weekend requirements are usually every other weekend. No block schedules available.

Assignment Details

4-week contract. Floating to appropriate units as needed.

Requirements

• Active nursing license.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, including 1 year in telemetry.
• Experience with insulin drips, cardiac drips, starting IVs, and post-cardiac catheterization.
• Familiarity with EPIC documentation system from within the past 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in a progressive care setting, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications as required.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and document patients' conditions and responses to treatment.
• Educate patients and their families on health and wellness issues.
• Perform necessary clinical procedures including starting IVs and managing cardiac drips.

Parking details will be provided. Reliable transportation is required as public transportation is not accessible in the area.
