Senior Manager, Communications & Public Affairs, Hematology

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Senior Manager of Communications & Public Affairs for its U.S. Oncology team, focused on hematology. The role involves developing integrated communications strategies, managing media relations, patient storytelling, and supporting product launches and scientific milestones in a hybrid position based in Horsham, Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated communications strategies for hematology portfolio and product launches
- Lead external communications including press releases, media materials, and congress communications
- Direct patient and caregiver storytelling initiatives across branded and unbranded channels
- Partner with media relations teams to build national and regional media strategies
- Manage issues identification, scenario planning, and crisis communications for portfolio priorities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Health, or closely related field
- 8+ years external and internal communications experience with increasing responsibility
- Expertise in strategic planning in corporate, agency, nonprofit, or regulated healthcare settings
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex science into clear narratives
- Experience managing media relations and external stakeholder engagement
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
