Phlebotomist-Bradenton-Part-Time

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center. Work Schedule 20 hours weekly, Mon–Fri 7am–11am with alternating Saturdays. Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Other duties as assigned Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test Flexibility to work overtime as needed Exceptional customer service Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Reliable transportation PSTs may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications Phlebotomy certification or 6 months or more of phlebotomy experience Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k) Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO) Tuition Reimbursement Employee Stock Purchase Plan Employees scheduled 20+ hours per week eligible for comprehensive benefits Employees scheduled less than 20 hours eligible only for 401(k) plan Employees on 7 on/7 off schedule eligible for all benefits except PTO or FTO Equal Opportunity Employer Labcorp is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
