Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions for a growing organization in Des Moines, IA. This is a fully on-site opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with high-volume transactions.
Responsibilities
- Process a high volume of accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with accounts receivable activities, including payment application and account reconciliation.
- Verify invoices, match supporting documentation, and ensure timely processing.
- Maintain accurate financial records and data entry within the accounting system.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or a related accounting support role.
- Ability to manage a large volume of AP invoices on a daily basis.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new processes, systems, and accounting software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute to the corporate office for training.
