Flex Maintenance Tech

Flex Maintenance Tech Shift: 4-hour shifts. Minimum 15 hours per week, up to 29 hours weekly across 4–12 hour blocks. The plant operates 18 hours per day, 5 days a week. Hourly wage: $33.75, plus $2 per hour for a qualified boiler license. Responsibilities The Maintenance Technician installs, maintains, and repairs facility and production equipment, working with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and controls to ensure safe and efficient operation. Required Experience Basic computer skills 6 months industrial or building facility maintenance experience Valid driver’s license (may be required) Preferred Experience LOTO experience 3+ years industrial or building facility maintenance experience Minimum Qualifications Minimum age 18 years Commitment to safety: ensure personal and coworkers’ safety at all times Inspect machinery: knowledge of checking equipment for proper performance and detecting faults Diagnose malfunctions using testing equipment to determine required repairs Write technical reports: ability to compose reports understandable by non-technical audiences Perform machine maintenance: familiarity with regular maintenance, corrections, and alterations to keep machines productive Time management: reliable completion of tasks by deadlines, adaptable to changing priorities with minimal supervision Comprehension: ability to read, write, comprehend instructions, and possess basic math skills Coordination: work well with others to meet team goals and adapt to changes Physical Requirements Able to lift 50 lbs; frequent movement including walking, standing, bending, stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, climbing; performance while wearing personal protective equipment; work across temperature zones; may involve dust; no restrictions on reassigning duties.
