Site Safety Coordinator (Renewables Construction - Nationwide Opportunities!)

divh2Safety Coordinator/h2pResponsible for assisting the Safety Managers in all job-site office related safety matters. Responsible for safety functions necessary to support Mastec Renewables at an assigned jobsite. Conduct site safety orientation, basic safety trainings, job safety analysis, workplace audits and incident responses as needed./ppYoull get the opportunity to travel across the US, helping our team build renewable projects. This is a traveling position (up to 100%), where you will be onsite at a project location. You have the potential to be placed on a project site located in any state throughout the US. Youll spend 8-12 months on average per project. We offer designated daily per diem in addition to base pay to support and help you cover living expenses. This may include: New Hire Orientation, Fall Protection, Confined Space, Lockout/Tagout, Respiratory, etc./liliProvide Safety Leadership creating enthusiasm and participation among management and craft workers, resulting in excellent safety performance/liliMay assist with inputting and reviewing incident reports/liliAssist in the execution of the jobsite safety plans/liliExposure to and an understanding of the lockout/tagout procedures in a safe manner/liliCommunicate with Wanzek management regarding safety matters/liliEnsure safety documentation is complete and accurate as required by Wanzek and regulations/liliEnsure PTPs, field audits, daily equipment inspections, SOPs and safety meetings are being conducted and entered into appropriate systems for tracking/liliDevelop and administer recognition systems with Safety Managers to promote safe and healthful work performance, i.e. Good Catch/liliEnsure sufficient supply of suitable inventory of PPE and safety equipment.
