House Manager / Household Assistant Needed – Westport Area We are looking for a dependable, practical, and organized person to help maintain and manage our home two days a week, approximately six hours each day (12 hours total per week). Pay is $25 per hour. All supplies and equipment are provided. This is not a house cleaning service position. We are looking for someone who enjoys working closely with a family and is willing to learn how we like things done. The right person will be flexible, communicate well, and take pride in helping keep a busy household running smoothly. Responsibilities will vary and may include housekeeping, laundry, changing beds, keeping the kitchen and refrigerator clean and orderly, maintaining household systems, seasonal and day-to-day projects, and helping address whatever needs attention that day. We have our own way of organizing and running the household and are looking for someone who is willing to learn our systems and help maintain them rather than create their own. We are looking for someone who enjoys variety, notices what needs to be done, and is comfortable adapting to the changing needs and priorities of a family. Some tasks may be physically demanding, so applicants should be comfortable with both routine upkeep and occasional deeper cleaning or larger household projects.
