Overview We are looking for a friendly and energetic APRN or Physician Assistant (PA) for our urgent care centers located in Bridgeport, Fairfield and Shelton, CT. Responsibilities Provide high quality patient care Manage all patient care while on shift Ensure all charts are filled out and medical records are completed using EMR system Administer common medications for urgent care patients Work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented clinical office environment See patients ages 3 months and up Weekend coverage required 100% paid malpractice insurance CME reimbursement paid annually Support from highly-trained medical staff Maintain state-of-the-art facilities and equipment On-site digital X-ray On-site CLIA-approved laboratory EMR system utilization Educational & Experience Requirements DOT certification up to one year of employment Clinical practice history of 2 years Ability to perform typical urgent care procedures for all ages Excellent communication with staff, patients and families Active and current Connecticut medical license Active and current DEA number Experience with EMR systems Experience with providing workers\' compensation services preferred Bilingual is a plus but not mandatory Job Type: Full-time/Part-time Work remotely: No Benefits & Compensation Salary: $125,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year (varies by location/experience) 401(k) Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Medical Specialties Emergency Medicine Internal Medicine Primary Care Urgent Care Standard Shift & Schedule Day shift Monday to Friday; weekend availability Work Setting Acute care Clinic Outpatient Other Equal Opportunity Employer.
