Chemist Position

Our client is seeking a Chemist to join their team. As a Chemist, you will be part of the Research & Development Laboratory supporting product development and formulation teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Chemist Location: Darien, CT Pay Range: $40/hr

What's the Job?

• Prepare laboratory batches of hair color products and support formulation activities.
• Conduct product stability testing and evaluate color performance.
• Record, analyze, and report formulation stability and efficacy results.
• Prepare consumer laboratory samples and hair tresses with application of consumer products following CGMP practices.
• Maintain laboratory raw materials, glassware, supplies, and waste inventory.

What's Needed?

• Experience working with laboratory equipment such as batching equipment, pH meters, and viscometers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications.
• Ability to lift and handle bulk materials.
• Knowledge of CGMP practices and laboratory procedures.
• Ability to communicate test results and interact with raw material suppliers.
