Patient Intake Representative (per-diem)

Labcorp seeks a Patient Intake Representative on a per-diem basis in Somers Point, New Jersey to manage patient scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and specimen collection at a diagnostic testing facility.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments and greet patients upon arrival
• Register patients, verify insurance coverage, and collect payments
• Perform data entry of patient demographics and billing information
• Collect and prepare specimens for testing when required
• Call physician offices to confirm accuracy of test orders

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• One year or more of customer service experience
• Strong data entry and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to pass a colorblindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
